CALLING THE INSPIRATIONAL WOMEN OF DUSTON

Calling people of Duston, businesses, schools and community groups, get thinking of your inspirational woman.

 

If you know someone who you believe deserves recognition for the impact that they have made to peoples’ lives or the wider community, you can nominate them online till 26th January at 9am.

 

You can nominate a female family member who has been your support during this challenging year. It could be someone who has inspired you through their job or a neighbour who has set up a community group to support people.

 

It can be anyone who has made an impact over the last year and you think deserves the recognition. 

 

If you believe that their is someone who has made a difference or kept your spirits high during these tough times. Nominate them for the hard work that they have put in.

You are able to nominate from either; Inspirational Woman through employment or Community Inspirational Woman. 

 

The Inspirational Women Award is an initiative run by Northampton Borough Council’s Women’s Forum and BBC Radio Northampton, which aims to celebrate the communities inspiring women.

Cabinet member for community engagement and safety, Councillor Anna King said:; “We all know someone who has gone above and beyond in supporting their communities during this challenge year and make great role models not just now but in years to come.” 

 

“We are now calling on residents to nominate those who made a difference in their lives and communities. Let’s make 2021 celebrations the best yet.” 

 

The awards show will of course be a virtual event and will take place on March 6th 2021. You can nominate here.
